5. Finnish Archipelago
Finland might not come into mind as a sailing destination to most of you but sailing through the Finnish Archipelago during the summers is an adventure itself. In some cases, many would even say it is the largest archipelago in the world, that is if you would count it by the number of islands. The Finnish Archipelago contains around 180,000 islands, all unique in their own little way. Although there are 180,000 islands, many are small and compact in size.
Our tip is to start your sailing trip in the former capital city of Finland, Turku. From Turku make your way up along the coastline of Finland and watch carefully as the country reveals its true secrets. The Finnish Archipelago is the perfect spot for those who want to experience a Nordic utopia.

4. Thailand
The tropical beach paradise of Asia is a spot you simply cannot go wrong with. There is a reason why it is loved by many and many somehow keep finding their way back here. Thailand with its high cliffs and award-winning white sand beaches never fails to amaze and it is even better to be discovered by boat.
One of the best spots in Thailand to go sailing is Phuket. Phuket has plenty of untouched beaches surrounding the Thai island which has managed to maintain its originality. Including the various activities and sights this stunning island offers for you to see and do if you happen to need a break from the blue
sea.
While you are here in Phuket you may also come across the ‘Millionaires Row’ which you will immediately notice by the luxury houses built for the rich and famous. It’s no surprise why it has been given the name ‘Millionaires Row’.
3. Greek islands
How does sailing in the blue Mediterranean Sea of the land of the gods sound? With the amount of sun shining in Greece all throughout the year, sailing around the Greek islands cannot do you wrong. The Greek islands are perfect for those who want to incorporate a little island-hopping in their sailing trip this summer and see how many hidden spots you can find.
Our little insider tip is to pop by the Greek island, Thasos it’s full of amazing spots to discover and an inviting fishing port that welcomes you with delicious food. The place is still off the radar from tourists, so if you fancy a quiet getaway on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Thasos should be on your list during your next sailing trip!
2. Croatia
Croatia is a true gem when it comes to the best spots for sailing. Picturesque harbors and charming old towns that cannot be missed. Oh! And for any sailors out there, who are true Game of Thrones fans, don’t disappoint by not visiting Croatia. The coastline of Croatia offers over 1 000 islands to sail through while getting the true French Riverian feel. Ever wanted to go back to the 50s or 60s? Well, there you have it.
Croatia is also known to be the best spot for sailing this summer if you are still quite new to sailing. The waters are calm therefore making it easy to sail for sailors with different skill levels.
