Destinations that will make winter more fun

It’s winter, the most beautiful time of the year!

Ohh wait, a quick reality check out the window – gray skies, wet roads, uncomfortable cold. Not quite the crisp, cool winter here that you remember from your childhood. But we do not give up hope yet, because there are still some places where our winter dream comes true. Let’s go on a journey.

1. Hungary

If you dream of long walks with frosty breath in a beautiful city, Budapest is the right place for you! Here you can go ice skating outdoors in the Városligeti Műjégpálya City Park as well as visit various Christmas markets and warm up afterwards in one of the many steaming historical thermal baths.

2. Finnland

You don’t feel like walking but still want to enjoy the winter wonderland, reindeer sleds will pull you through the icy nature in Rovaniemi, Finnland, and give you unique insights into life in the Arctic Circle. 3. Sweden

4. Mexico

And as we are really frozen we need a warm coffee on the plane and a few days of sun in Mexico! Known for its culture, beautiful landscapes and amazing food, it’s the perfect winter escape for everyone and leaves nothing to be desired.

5. Egypt

You’ve been to Mexico and tacos don’t taste good to you? How about pyramids instead of ruins, the Red Sea instead of cenotes and falafel instead of tacos? Egypt is also a great place to refuel our vitamin D levels and have an adventurous time.
